Ozona CCS partners with Marubeni to develop CCS projects in Texas, US

Ozona CCS and Marubeni are teaming up to bring advanced carbon capture projects to South Texas’ Eagle Ford Basin. Texas' unique geology makes it the ideal location for carbon capture and storage development.

Ozona CCS has formed a partnership with a subsidiary of Japanese firm Marubeni to develop carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) projects in the Eagleford Basin, South Texas in the US.

The JV aims to sequester CO₂, with Marubeni providing support in various technical and financial aspects.

Ozona has already identified several potential storage sites in the Eagleford trend through a thorough geological review.

The company is currently in talks with large producers to manage CO₂emissions from natural gas treating plants.
